Training Objective:
Busch PROtective will be hosting a ballistic workshop focusing on the DEA-FBI Ballistic Helmet Protocol V1.0-2019
- Brief classroom ballistics training (Intro to DEA-FBI Helmet Protocol, differences over existing NIJ Testing, ballistic materials handling)
- On-site shooting demo comparing 2 (or more) helmets side by side demonstrating performance in back-face deformation, edge shots, bolt shots & blunt trauma. Agencies are encouraged to bring any duty rounds for testing, as well as any helmets they wish to see tested side by side for comparative purposes.
- Lunch & beverages provided on-site after training (all helmets available after shoot for inspection during Q&A) Busch
