SUMMARY:Ballistic Helmet Training
DESCRIPTION:Training Objective: \nBusch PROtective will be hosting a ballistic workshop focusing on the DEA-FBI Ballistic Helmet Protocol V1.0-2019 \n\nBrief classroom ballistics training (Intro to DEA-FBI Helmet Protocol\, differences over existing NIJ Testing\, ballistic materials handling)\nOn-site shooting demo comparing 2 (or more) helmets side by side demonstrating performance in back-face deformation\, edge shots\, bolt shots & blunt trauma. Agencies are encouraged to bring any duty rounds for testing\, as well as any helmets they wish to see tested side by side for comparative purposes.\nLunch & beverages provided on-site after training (all helmets available after shoot for inspection during Q&A) Busch\n\nTo RSVP or any questions please contact Dustin Dinnat with Safariland at dustin.dinnat@safariland.com.
