SUMMARY:Less Lethal Instructor Program
DESCRIPTION:The Less Lethal Instructor Program provides the necessary training for a changing world. This course is comprised for four 8-hour instructor-level classes covering OC Aerosols\, Impact Munitions\, Chemical Munitions and Distraction Device® Munitions. The student will acquire instructor-level knowledge of Defense Technology® products\, both technically and tactically\, along with the skills necessary to conduct in-service training. \nCOURSE OVERVIEW\nEach of the four class modules focuses on a different subject and includes a half-day of lecture-based studies followed by a half-day in the field for deployment drills. Unique to this class are the state-of-the-art deployment tactics that come direct from the manufacturer of the products used. In each topic\, the student will receive a CD containing presentation materials and videos to be utilized by the student for training in their own departments.\n• Day 1 — OC Aerosol Projectors Instructor Program\n• Day 2 — Less Lethal Impact Munitions (LLIM) – Instructor Program\n• Day 3 — Chemical Munitions (CHEM) – Instructor Program (CN/CS/OC/Smoke)\n• Day 4 — Distraction Device® Munitions (DD) – Instructor Program \nCOURSE BENEFITS\nThis course is conducted by real-world professionals with strong operational and applied experience in their respective fields. Upon completion of the course and successful passing of the final exam\, the student is authorized to provide in-service training to their agency in specific areas for three years from the testing date. \nADDITIONAL DETAILS\nPREREQUISITES\nEach attendee must be in good physical condition and able to perform the practical exercises associated with tactical applications with the use of these products. DESCRIPTION:Course Description\nThis 40-hour instructor course builds on the SSGT Precision Rifle: Operator and Precision Rifle: R.U.C.S. programs. By the end of the course\, officers will be certified to safely train\, coach\, and mentor others using the proven training methodologies taught in the previous SSGT rifle courses. \nThe course begins with a review of Precision Rifle Operator and R.U.C.S. objectives and includes a demonstration of student proficiency. Officers will receive instruction in both classroom concepts and hands-on practical skills. Training includes: \n\n\nTroubleshooting common precision shooting deficiencies \n\n\nField craft \n\n\nUrban trade craft \n\n\nEquipment use and evaluation \n\n\nMethodologies for teaching and relaying technical information \n\n\nOfficers will also develop and teach a full lesson block\, including instruction\, practical application\, and evaluation. Students are assessed on their subject-matter mastery and their ability to effectively communicate material to others. \nParticipants will also create a Precision Scoped Rifle Operator sustainment program tailored to their department’s logistical needs to ensure ongoing training and safety within operational environments. \n\nAbout the SSGT Trainers\nSSGT instructors are former U.S. Special Forces (Green Beret) operators with extensive experience as instructors and program managers at the JFK Special Warfare Center’s Special Forces Hostage Rescue and Sniper School. Their expertise comes from real-world application in diverse combat environments and counterterrorism operations. They have trained thousands of U.S. and allied personnel in advanced marksmanship\, precision rifle operations\, and tactical instruction.
