DESCRIPTION:The HME course is designed to provide emergency first responders with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to incidents involving Homemade Explosives (HME). \nCOURSE OBJECTIVE\nEmergency first responders are presented with information on the identification of HME explosive precursor chemicals\, HME manufacturing indicators\, HME exposure indicators\, and pre-detonation and post-detonation response actions. \nCOURSE COMPONENTS\nThroughout this course\, emergency first responders discuss how to implement safe response strategies when recognizing the presence of HME indicators; understanding these response actions is critical to mitigating the hazards associated with HME. \nDownload Course Flyer
